About Jamie Teel

My name is Jamie Teel.  I grew up in another wonderful small town, Sweetwater, Oklahoma. I graduated high school in 1992.  I attended SWOSU and recieved a degree in elementary education.  I started teaching at Hammon in 2000. I have been teaching at Hammon my entire teaching career.  I am married to Danny Teel, and we farm in our spare time. :)  I have three boys, Cody, Clay, and Corbin and three beautiful daughter in-laws, Kala, Mckenzie, and Cherokee. We have five amazing grand daughters, Everly, Dempsey, Lennyn, Maddyn, and Dayleigh.  They have been such a great blessing to all our lives.  My boys are very proud to have been Hammon Warriors.  We all enjoy being outdoors and living the country life.  We have been very blessed to be a part of this community and school.  As always, I am looking forward to a terrific year!  I am very thankful to have a part in my students' lives, and I hope that one day my students will be able to say the same about their time here at Hammon.  My school kids have been such a blessing to me.

Hi Mrs Teel,

I've been helping my daughter, Zoey work on a Science project for school. Last night we were doing research together and we were happy to find your page, http://www.hammon.k12.ok.us/index.php?siteID=450&pageID=129248_4 It has been very useful to us, thanks! It's really helped with Zoey's project about bacteria and germs.

Zoeyhas been learning about being a good Digital Citizen in school so she wanted to send you a Thank You as well as pass along an article she found: https://online.maryville.edu/online-bachelors-degrees/general-studies-healthcare/biology-resources/ she thought it would be a great addition to your website, if it isn't too much trouble. I thought it might also score her a few bonus points with her teacher as well; it would show that she really went above and beyond on this project which would mean a lot to her as she has always struggled with Science.

Let me know what you think and if you have any other resources please pass them on :)
